How Well Does EntreCard Build Traffic?

Just a quick post to let you know that I've added EntreCard to my site. EntreCard is a blog networking service. I have to admit, its a little confusing at first. The general gist is that you get credits for dropping your card (your ad) on other people's blog. Then with those credits, you can buy advertising space for your blog on other sites. Credits can be bought, sold, raffled, traded, or given away.

I am still getting the hang of using the service, so I will post an update soon to give you more details and let you know how much its helped traffic. I will say that I am amazed how quickly I am getting credits already. I'm not sure of the best use for them yet though. Any ideas? If you have some experience with EntreCard PLEASE share it with us in a comment. How well did it work for you? Do you have any tips or advice? As always, your comments are greatly appreciated.

By the way, I think this will be the last change to my ad panel for a while. My goal all along for this blog was to keep it real and down to earth. I don't want it to seem overwhelming with annoying ads all over the place.

Thanks for visiting and thanks for the comment! I found myself doing the same thing - just going from one site to the next, dropping a card, and following the chain. You're right, it can be addicting! You really visit some interesting (putting it mildly) sites as well!

1) Drop your card A LOT
2) Find blogs that you like to read & are relevant to your site & advertise on them.
3) Check your statistics to see on which websites you're getting the most clicks & keep advertising there.

It's easier to drop cards if you start at your inbox. Visit all the sites that have dropped cards on you & drop one on them.

To get more clicks, I click on the ads of the sites I visit so that even if I don't like the site, I get another credit.

Today, I'm "Chain Dropping". Which is just visiting to drop the card. I went to all the new Entrecard users & you were one of them, so HI! You're my 271st drop today.

I'm addicted, LOL.
